Hello
All,
Matt
and I permantly moved to the Keys October, 2003. But
we are not new to the Keys. My Grandparents moved to
Tavernier in the 1950's. They have since left, but the
Keys have never left my family. I brought Matt down
when we first met and the Keys fever hit him too. We
were married in Islamorada and a short time later realized
that we wanted to live here.
The
Sombrero Reef Inn has been around since 1971 and has
had a few different names; The Man-O-War Boatel and
Hopp Inn. It once consisted of nine buildings. All but
one have been turned into private homes and we have
the last remainder of the Boatel.
I
am a Flight Attendant and visit many different hotels.
This has given me an appreciation for those "little
things" that make a difference. Especially clean and
quiet. We strive to make those our top priorities. After
that we want you to feel at home, like this is your
home in the Keys. The last year Matt and I, with the
help of my parents, have worked extremely hard on improvements
to the property and building with more plans for the
future.
Matt
and I understand the importance of vacation and fishing
and will help you with whatever we can here in the Keys
to make your vacation go smoothly. Let us book your
fishing charter, find the perfect rental boat, seek
out the dive/snorkel trip you are looking for or just
recomend a place to eat and relax.
Thank
you,
Carolyn
